Google Reader is awesome

I don’t know why I didn’t use it before. I used to always waste a ton of time bouncing around my favorite sites to see if there were updates. In this day and age, it is actually a rather stupid thing to do. With Google Reader I can sign up to my favorite RSS feeds (eg. friends’ blogs, Phoronix, Mesa git log, Paul Krugman, Greg Mankiw etc. etc.) and never again need to directly go to the sites for updates! With  Chrome’s official Google Reader extension, I am periodically informed of anything new, so I can do more productive stuff/search for new ways to waste time. This may be the thing that pushes me from Firefox to Google.
